At Cold Creek Farm we are selecting and breeding our Grass Fed Belted Galloway lines with an eye toward commercially competitive grass-fed production. This goal includes maintaining the amazing heritage traits of the Belted Galloway such as feed efficiency, non selective grazing, easy calving and general hardiness that those who came before us worked hard to create. We are then selecting for a faster growing, heavier (medium framed) Belted Galloway who is still absolutely gorgeous by adding width, and length without adding leg.
